Sap Sm59 Registered Program

March 30, 2011 register server program, rfc, rfcexec, sm59, tcpip connection. Error Details LOCATION: SAP-Gateway on host R3DEV / sapgw00.

Symptom

• In an IDoc_AAE scenario, an SM59 destination has been configured in a sender Business System for the connection with Process Integration (PI).
• The connection test for the SM59 destination fails with the error message:
• Error when opening an RFC connection
• 'Transaction program not registered', or 'Program XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_PID not registered'
• This error also occurs in transaction SM58 in the sender Business System.

Question / Problem:

This is normally happens If there have been some configuration changes on SAP system by the system admin, or could be related to an SAP system update.
And can also be related to starting the MarkView server under OS user account that doesn't have the required privileges.

When you try to establish an RFC connection between SAP and MarkView, you might get any of the errors below: Qualcomm atheros ar938x wireless network adapter specs.

1- If you try to test the RFC connection from SAP to MarkView ( TCode: SM59 > TCP/IP Connections > MarkView > Connection Test Button ), you get the error below:

ERROR: Transaction program not registered
